A communication from Pol Herman to BSI (e-mail of 19 October 2022) informs of a human head carving mounted on an exterior wall of the church of Givron: "Une tête humaine romane est incrustée dans le mur sud de la nef : il s'agit d'un vestige de fonts baptismaux du 12e siècle." An accompanying photograph shows other objects equally located, one of which is a large block of stone carved with an inscription "[?] VON NICOLAO / SACRVM / 1677"; it is the head that is claimed as part of an old font.
