The entry for this church in Kirchenvisite Die Kirchengebäude im Gebiet der Reformierten Kirchen Bern-Jura-Solothurn [https://kirchenvisite.ch/kirche/294-wimmis-kirche-wimmis] [accessed 1 August 2023] notes a baptismal font made of stone in 1672 ["der Taufstein von 1672"]. The entry for this church church in hausewege.ch [https://www.hauswege.ch/kirchenwege/kirchen] [accessed 1 August 2023] however, reports a late-Gothic font of between 1552 and 1557, decorated with the coats of arms of castellan Ludwig von Büren and of pastor Andreas Wolf ["Der spätgotische Taufstein wurde zwischen 1552 und 1557 geschaffen. Eingehauen sind die Wappen des Kastlans Ludwig von Büren und des Pfarrers Andreas Wolf."] The font consists of an octagonal basin with a large flat moulding at the upper rim; two coats of arms on the rounded sides; octagonal-to-square pedestal base; octagonal lower base or plinth. Plain wooden cover, octagonal and modern.
