Holy-water stoup wall-mounted in the porch; identified and illustrated in Christy Cunniffe in Galway Community Heritage (11 September 2016) [https://field-monuments.galwaycommunityheritage.org/content/archaeology/glinsk-water-stoup] [accessed 31 July 2023]: "Holy water stoup in Glinsk Catholic church [...] Consists of an inscribed limestone holy water stoup or font in the porch of Glinsk Catholic church. Erected by the Rev William Harrington PP AD 1843. Regular contact with the bowl of this post-Emancipation font has caused the limestone to become polished and take on the sheen of black marble." The stoup and its inscription is also noted in the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage [https://www.buildingsofireland.ie/buildings-search/building/30400702/saint-michaels-catholic-church-keelogesbeg-co-galway] [accessed 31 July 2023], as well as the date of the church "1840 - 1890", but there is no information on the possible provenance of the late-medieval stoup.
