Baptismal font illustrated in Wikimedia [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Kirche_Langenleuba-Oberhain_(alter_Taufstein).jpg] [accessed 26 July 2023]. Tub-shaped font much damaged and now disused; it is decorated with a band of horseshoe arch-heads below the upper rim -- the damage to the righ side of the upper rim may indicate that the stone was split by a metal anchoring for an old font cover, as it often happens; the notch visible at the opposite end, however, may have been cut on purpose when the font was used as a farm trough or garden planter before it was returned to the church. The church has a modern font in use, located in the chancel, to the right of the altar.
