Baptismal font of the Romanesque period reported in Baudenkmale [https://dewiki.de/Lexikon/Liepen_(Friedland)] [accessed 25 July 2023] ["In der Liste der Baudenkmale in Friedland (Mecklenburg) sind für Liepen sechs Baudenkmale aufgeführt, darunter die Dorfkirche mit Feldsteinmauer und romanischem Taufstein"]. The medieval font has a very worn and damaged basin, the sides showing faint traces of an arcade of round arch-heads on columns; the inside of the arches had motifs or figures but they are too eroded for identification; it is raised on a rounde stone and is located in the churchyard, protected now beneath a little wooden roof on pillars. The baptismal font in use inside this church is a modern replacement.
