The entry for this church in Wikimedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evangelische_Kirche_Hohensolms] [accessed 24 July 2023] refers to Timo Zimmermann's Hohensolms. Tal, Stadt, Gemeinde und Ortsteil (2000: 122–123), who describes a stone vessel buried in the castle's Renteigarten, outside the church, possibly the baptismal font of the original mid-15th century church, suspected to have been discarded at the time of the Reformation; it was replaced by a plain stone vessel and later by a silver font still in use now [2000] ["Gegenüber der Kirche liegt im Renteigarten der Burg ein halb im Boden vergrabenes, mit spätgotischen Stilelementen verziertes Steinbecken.
