Provinz Oberhessen, Kreis Friedberg, by Dr. Rudolf Adami (1895) [https://digi.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/diglit/kdgh] [accessed 23 July 2023]. The font is an octagonal roughly hemispherical tub with a rounded underbowl; it is decorated below the rim with a row of [24?] pointed arches, and it is now [2023] back inside the church; no cover present. The entry for this church in Wikipedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evangelische_Kirche_Nieder-Weisel] [accessed 23 July 2023] [after Klar: Geschichte des Dorfes Nieder-Weisel in der Wetterau. 1953, S. 176] describes two baptismal fonts in it: one is a medieval octagonal font donated in 1890 [cf. supra] [cf. BSI entry for Nieder-Weisel No. 2 for the font in the other church in Nieder-Weisel]
