The font here is described and illustrated in the entry for this church in the Evangelische Regionalpfarrampt Roßlau [http://web557.webbox220.server-home.org/patronatskirche-neeken] [accessed 22 July 2023]: baptismal font of stone with a 1669 basin on a square pedestal base; located by the altar ["Vor dem Altar steht die steinerne Taufe aus dem Jahr 1669 auf vierseitigem Fuß."] Illustrated in the Regionalpfarramt Roßlau [https://www.entschlossene-kirchen.de/kirchen/neeken-dorfkirche/] [accessed 22 July 2023]. The font consists of an octagonal [or square with chamfered corners] with moulded upper rim, decorated with floral and foliage motifs; four of the sides have heart-shaped cartouches with inscriptions; the short moulded middle section below the basin appears modern; the square pedestal base is decorated with the same floral and foliage motifs as the basin. No cover present.
