The entry for this church in the Förderkreis »Entschlossene Kirchen« e.V. [https://www.entschlossene-kirchen.de/kirchen/muehlstedt-dorfkirche/] [accessed 22 July 2023] reports that the old baptismal font is located outside the church, in the vicarage property ["Auf dem Grundstück des Pfarrhauses befindet sich der alte Taufstein der Kirche."] Illustrated in the parish site [https://www.kirche-rosslau.de/kirchen/muehlstedt] [accessed 22 July 2023]. The baptismal font of stone consists of an octagonal basin with a pronounced flat moulding at the upper rim, a plain rounded underbowl; raised on a pedestal base. The font, located as indicated above, is badly damaged; the obvious damage to the upper rim sides may have been caused by metal anchoring staples from an old cover splitting the stone.
