Noted in the Woellstadt-Denkmalschutz [https://www.woellstadt.de/content/attachments/Woellstadt_Denkmalschutz.pdf] [accessed 21 July 2023] (p. 1082) as a late-Gothic baptismal font; two photographs of the church interior, one of which shows the font, are included. The entry for this church in the Hotel-Zentrale site [https://www.hotel-zentrale.de/fotos/886-Woellstadt/6927-Kirche-Nieder-Woellstadtjpg] [accessed 21 July 2023] reports a late-Gothic baptismal font of stone in this church. The entry for this church in the Gelbe Seiten [https://www.gelbeseiten.de/gsbiz/e227ce6c-c772-4fd6-9661-2e09ba7546a5] [accessed 21 July 2023] notes that the font is dated ca. 1290-1300, that it was decommissioned in 1823 when it was relegated to a role as planter outside the church until the 1980s ["Taufbecken: stammt von ca. 1290 -1300, 1823 außer Dienst gestellt, diente dann bis in die 80er Jahre als Blumenschale im Freien."] The Frankfurter Neue Presse edition of 31 May 2022 [https://www.fnp.de/lokales/wetteraukreis/woellstadt/wo-der-gaensmueller-wohnte-91583835.html] [accessed 21 July 2023] includes a reference and a partial photograph of the 13th-century baptismal font in the parish church at Nieder-Wöllstadt.
