The baptismal font in this church is a composite object; the basin is polygonal [decagonal?] with plain sides and a tall underbowl, all of it slightly concave; raised on a round-to-square pedestal base of a totally different type of stone and design. The wooden cover has a lower half shaped as a dome, with gilded square flowers between gadroons on the sides, topped by an octagonal end and a statue of either Christ or John the Baptist as finial; modern.
