The entry for this font in Apsida.sk [https://apsida.sk/c/5679/stitnik] [accessed 4 July 2023] notes and illustrates a baptismal font made of bronze in 1454 by the workshop of master Jan of Spišskej Soboty ["Zachovala sa tu aj bronzová krstiteľnica z roku 1454 od majstra Jána zo Spišskej Soboty"]. The four registers around the basin sides include an inscription identifying the date of the font and its maker [cf. supra], as well as the dedication to the Assumption of St. Mary, small squares with the scene of Christ's Crucifixion, other symbols and motifs; the original base has been lost and the basin now rests on a metal tripod. The metal [copper?] cover, dated to 1702, is dome-shaped, decorated with broad ribs on the sides, and a large round finial;
