The entry for this church in the Deutsche Stiftung Denkmalschurz [https://www.denkmalschutz.de/denkmal/schlosskirche-romrod.html] [accessed 1 April 2023] notes a baptismal font of the same period as the church itself: " Im Ortskern, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Schloss, wurde zwischen 1676 -1680 die Schlosskirche gebaut [...] der Taufstein stammen aus der Bauzeit". The stone font consists of a polygonal [hexagonal?] basin decorated with round mouldings and a ribbed patterns with cherubs and other motifs on it; raised on a round baluster-type pedestal base with mouldings.
