Enlart (1895: 34-36) refers to a design of medieval font in which a roughly hemispherical basin appears to be suspended in a quadrangular frame supported on angle colonnettes; Enalrt (ibid.) gives several examples of this design (Buleux, Fouencamps, Gentelles, Havernas, Equennes and Mirvaux, as well as five other such fonts "au musée d'Amiens". The entry for the Église Notre-Dame-de-la-Nativité de Saveuse in Inventaire Hauts-de-France in Mérimée [ref: IA80002502] [https://www.pop.culture.gouv.fr/notice/merimee/IA80002502] [accessed 24 April 2023] reports a 13th-century baptismal font from this church now in the Musée de Picardie: "Elle contenait une cuve baptismale du 13e siècle, déposée au musée de Picardie". The Inventaire Hauts-de-France [https://inventaire.hautsdefrance.fr/dossier/eglise-paroissiale-de-la-nativite-de-la-vierge-de-saveuse/a017ad8b-1574-4fe1-a1e5-b6d2dde31ed2] [accessed 24 April 2023] reports a 13th-century font from this church now in the Musée de Picardie, Amiens: "L'église paroissiale de Saveuse contenait une cuve baptismale du 13e siècle (actuellement conservée au musée de Picardie) qui atteste de son ancienneté." The museum inventory [Inv.M.P.1876.2113.pdf] [accessed 24 April 2023] reports a baptismal font of the 12th century [entry 2113, p. 207] acquired in 1864. There is a photograph of this font in the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek [https://www.deutsche-digitale-bibliothek.de/item/ZOVKGYPO74TSCIYT4ZC4GTAVJKUVUNQP] [accessed 24 April 2023]
