The entry for Rubescourt in Armoiries Samariennes [http://remus80.eklablog.com/rubescourt-a210324500] [accessed 15 April 2023] informs that the original parish church of St. Martin was in the nearby hamlet of Pas but, being distant from the vilage, was abandoned in 1867 in favour of a new church built right in the centre of Rubescourt: "Eglise Saint-Martin. The basin is round and moulded; the base is bell-shaped and has a roll moulding atop; the lower base has a roll moulding atop and appears to have been cut to polygonal below, although this lower part may have been a later addition. Modern font cover of wood; graded upper surface with orb-and-cross finial.
