The present baptismal font in this church consists of a roughly hemispherical basin beneath an octagonal upper rim, the side decorated with trefoiled tracery arch-heads ending in little blank shields; there may be an inscription on one (?) the rim sides; the base is totally different in style and design, octagonal to square and covered in large foliage motifs. Wooden cover, octagonal, flat and plain; modern. This font is either a modern rendering of earlier designs, or a composite of two earlier pieces totally retooled. [NB: we have no information on the font of the medieval church here].
