The entry for this church in the Evangelische Kirchengemeinde Nabern [https://ev-kirche-nabern.de/kirche/johanneskirche/taufstein] [accessed 31 March 2023] informs about the Summer of 2018 return of Nabern's old font from its 120 year-long exile in Kirchheim unter Teck; its crumbling base was replaced by a new one made of Schönbuch sandstone by Steinmetzbetriebs Hahnel of Owen. The people who were involved in the repatriation are identified in the source: Mr. Rainer Laskoswki, Ms. Roswitha Eberspächer, Dr. Matthew Mader, as well as Mr. Helmut Kapp and Mr. Steffen Barner, who took care of the return transport.
