The entry for Las Hormazas in the Enciclopedia del romanico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_LAS_HORMAZAS.pdf] [accessed 17 March 2023] writes of four churches in Las Hormazas, but does have any details on the church of San Pelayo, in the barrio of La Parte. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed March 2023] notes three churches in Las Hormazas, corresponding to each of the three 'barrios'; of this church he notes that it is of the Renaissance, as is the font dated to 1560 by an inscription: "La pila es renacentista con inscripción (1560), molduras y rosetas en los entrepaños y pie cónico moldurado".
