The entry for Las Hormazas in the Enciclopedia del romanico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_LAS_HORMAZAS.pdf] [accessed 17 March 2023] writes of four churches in Las Hormazas; of those four the church in the 'barrio' of Borcos is the Iglesia de Santiago Apóstol, a Gothic building with a few traces [ax work] of the Romanesque; the entry in the Enciclopedia does not mention the font in this church. The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed March 2023] notes three churches in Las Hormazas, corresponding to each of the three 'barrios'; this is one of the three, in the Borcos area of the village; it has a Gothic baptismal font: "El barrio de Borcos tiene su iglesia dedicada a Santiago, Apóstol, y es renacentista [...] restos románicos en canes [...] La portada es gótica [...] La pila es gótica, lisa, con pie poligonal dentado". [NB: another baptismal font of stone was photographed outside the church of Santiago Apóstol in Borcos [cf. ImagesArea; it appears to be of a typical Gothic design for the area; we have no information as to its original location]
