Die erste Klosterkirche wurde Ende des 11., Anfang des 12. Jahrhunderts errichtet. Der erhaltene Kirchenbau geht auf die 2. Hälfte des 12. Jahrhunderts zurück. Das berühmte Nordportal, das sog. Schottenportal, entstand ebenfalls in dieser Zeit. D-3-62-000-596"
