Font Notes:
The present font in this church cosnsists of an octagonal basin with a rounded underbowl; it has a moulding at the upper rim, and the date 1692 in large Roman numerals painted in white on the basin side; octagonal pedestal base decorated with multiple mouldings; on an octagonal lower base and plinth, both of a later date; the material of the font appears to be a very dark stone or marble, possibly painted. Splaying dome octagonal wooden cover with figural finial, the Baptism of Christ, by Johann Wilhelm Hegenauer (1748).
