An entry of 18 September 2012 by by Zsombor Jékely in Medieval Hungary: A blog about medieval art history, with a special focus on Hungary [https://jekely.blogspot.com/2012/09/the-danube-bend-in-middle-ages.html] [accessed 25 December 2022] reports the finding of "a Romanesque baptismal font recovered at Vác". The present font in the present cathedral building appears modern, perhaps 18th-century. [NB: we have no information on the present location of the discovered font].
