The entry for this village in Emiliano Nebreda Perdiguero [www.archiburgos.es/wp-content/uploads/amo-a-mi-pueblo.pdf] [accessed December 2022] notes two churches in this village, one for each of the two 'barrios' that make up the village, and each one with a font: "Al estar constituido por dos barrios separados, conserva también dos iglesias"; the church of the upper quarter " barrio de arribe" is dedicated to St. Peter: "una dedicada a San Pedro, en el barrio de arriba, de una nave con contrafuertes y cubierta recrecida. Su ábside es rectangular con contrafuertes. La portada es renacentista con pilastrones, frontón semicircular partido, rematada en pináculos y cruz, bajo pórtico cerrado con arco de medio punto. Y la torre es una espadaña de baja altura, rematada en cruz con dos huecos y dos campanas. La pila es estrecha, de vaso liso". [cf. BSI entry for Temino No. 2 for the font of the San Pablo's church in the lower quarter]. [NB: the information found for this church in Nebreda Perdiguero [ca. 1975] appears to be most of what is available to public access; the two churches were a single parish at the time under the care of a single priest; all information we have managed to locate is that the church of San Pablo [cf. BSI entry for Temino No.2] has now become now "San Pedro y San Pablo", and that the San Pedro church is no longer in use -- a couple of recent photograph of the church exterior are shown in our ImagesArea].
