Noted in Paul Keppler, Württemberg’sche kirchliche Kunstalterthümer (Rottenburg 1888: 207). Noted in Eduard Paulus, Die Kunst- und Alterthums-Denkmale im Neckarkreis, (Eduard Paulus (Hg.), Kunst- und Alterthums-Denkmale im Königreich Württemberg (Stuttgart 1889: 371). Listed in Meier-Kreikott (2011) (Kat. Nr. 153) as a baptismal font made of grey sandstone in the late-15th century, the basin decorated with branches [NB: author gives Keppler, Paulus [cf. supra] and Dehio 1993, S. 616. as references]. Noted and illustrated in the Evangelische Kirche Ossweil site [https://www.kirche-ossweil.de/gemeinden/kirche-gemeindezentrum.html] [accessed 21 December 2022]: "Das Taufbecken ist kostbares Zeugnis spätgotischer Steinmetzkunst, besonders die Astwerkornamentik, die an den „himmlischen Paradiesgarten" erinnert."
