Noted in F.I. Darsy's Description [...] Canton de Gamaches, in the Mémoires de la Société des Antiquaires de Picardie, vol. 15, 2nd series, T. 5 (1858: 290): "Les fonts baptismaux sont en pierre, monopédiculés, octogones, selon un usage assez général dans le canton. Ils peuvent dater du XIIe siècle. Quatre figures de néophytes sont sculptées sur la cuve. On croit en voir aussi des traces sur les colonnes simulées du pédicule".
