Listed and described in Die Deutschen Inschriften [https://hw.oeaw.ac.at/inschriften/tirol-1/imst/tirol-1-obj39.xml] [accesse 11 December 2022] as a late-Gothic baptismal font consisting of an octagonal basin with coats of arms in square panels on the sides, a moulded underbowl and pedestal base bearing the date 1507: "Taufstein, weißer Marmor (?), innen rechts unter der Empore, vermutlich aus dem Vorgängerbau der 1846/47 neu errichteten heutigen Pfk. stammend. Wappen1): Wolkenstein2), Schrofenstein3), Melauner4), Tänzl5), Laubenberg6), Winden oder Freiberg7) (?), Österreich (Bindenschild), Landgericht Imst{ [NB: the entry in the DDI (ibid.) includes further notes on the position and details of the armorial devices]. Round, flat and plain font cover with orb-and-cross finial; modern.
