Noted and illustrated in Die Kunstdenkmäler der Rheinprovinz, Paul Clemen, Fünfter Band, die Kunstdenkmäler des Siegkreises, 1907, S. 783 as an Early Gothic (13th-14th century?) baptismal font made of trachyte; it consists of a hexagonal basin raised on a broad central shaft and six outer colonnttes on a hexagonal lower base; the basin is decorated with a blind arcade of trefoiled arches: "Frühgotischer Taufstein des 13.-14. Jh. aus Trachyt, ein breites sechszeitiges Becken mit einer Gliederung durch nasenbesetzte Spitzbogen, auf einem schweren runden Schaft mit 6 Säulchen ohne Kapitelle und Basen. Das Ganze 1 Meter hoch, 1,20 Meter breit und auf einem sechseckigen Platte, die noch die alte Piscina zeigt."
