The entry for this church in Wikipedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maria_in_der_Tanne] [accessed 5 December 2022] notes that the baptismal font here, dated probably from 1620, was moved in 1814 from its original town church of St. Blasius and Quirinus to the Maria in der Tanne church; it further notes that it is somewhat similar to the fonts at Nußbach and Schonach: "Ähnliche Taufsteine stehen in Nußbach [...] und Schonach"]; the references given for the font information are "Maier und Lienhardt 1964, S. 48" and "Josef Läufer: Pfarreichronik St. Sebastian Nußbach. Katholisches Pfarramt St. Sebastian 2000". The font cover is probably by Joseph Kaltenbach, and the coats or arms are identified in one source [N/A] as "Vorderösterreichs, Tribergs und der Herren von Fürstenberg".
