Font Notes:
The Westerheem, archeologische werkgemeenschap voor Nederland (1973) reports a fragment of a baptismal font was found during the construction of a road, north of Purmerend. [NB: there was an earlier church that preceeded the present one but was demolished in 1850; the present church was built in 1851-1853]. The present font in side the modern church is also modern. [NB: there is no proof that the fragment found on the construction site was the old font from the old church here]
