Baptismal font consisting of a rather crudely rendered and irregular round basin decorated with a roll moulding at the rim, the sides with a running zog-zag moulding that divides the sides into a triangular appttern, and large ribs on the underbowl; raised on a round-to-square lower base decorated at the corners with a motif looking somewhat like a stylised leaf, with a crown-shaped top [NB: is this a composite font with unmatched basin and base?] There is no cover present on the font but the metal staples from old anchorings are present. [NB: the ermita and the disappeared castle are noted in the entry for Villavieja de Muñó in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_VILLAVIEJA_DE_MUÑÓ.pdf] [accessed 1 November 2022]
