Baptismal font made in 1634 consisting of a hexagonal basin decorated with panels or cartouches on the sides; these alternate between biblical scenes and inscriptions, both painted on the sides; the underbowl is decorated with angel busts, some of them missing parts; the base, also hexagonal in shape, has a pronounced moulding atop, and cherub heads on the six sides. Busily decorated wooden font cover of 1634: like the font the lower end is hexagonal and moulded, with figures seated on stools playing musical instruments; also on the lower level are fantastic heads; the mid level has tritons at the six angles; the finial is a very large statue of John the Baptist with a cross in his right hand, and a book and a small sheep on it in his left hand; the fonf has ring handles on the lower part but it also has a hook-up ring on St John's shoulder, the latter obviously to be attached to the hook of a pulley system above, but it is not connected to it now [September 2022]; the cover appears damaged in several areas, in need of restoration.
