The present font in the former abbey church consists of an octagonal basin with vertical sides, raised on a round pedestal base; the basin shows evidence of having been altered, probably drastically re-cut; it has damage and several holes in the upper rim, all of it apparently related to anchorings for an earlier font cover, but there is no cover present now; the base is a rather slender pedestal decorated with a single roll moulding; it is of a different stone, and likely added when the basin was re-cut. There is a stone holy-water stoup located also at the west end of the nave.
