Baptismal font dated to 1658 by an inscription; the font consists of an octagonal basin of rounded underbowl; it is decorated with a running inscription [transcription not available] between two thin mouldings just below the upper rim; the date '1658' has been incised on one of the sides of the basin, and its style doen not match the lettering of the above inscription at all; raised on a plain pedestal stem and a wider octagonal lower base with graded mouldings. The wooden cover on it is dated 1791 [cf. ImagesArea]. A third font in this church is urn-shaped and bears the name of the donor and the date of the donation, 1791. [cf. BSI entry for Crawinkel No. 1 for the early possible font here]
