Church Notes: ca. 1200(?) church; much modified 17thC;
Lsted and illustrated in Danmarls kirker [http://danmarkskirker.natmus.dk/uploads/tx_tcchurchsearch/Thisted_0833-0846.pdf] [accessed 21 October 2022] as a regular and beautiful baptismal font of the 'Morsingtypen' made of granite; the font consists of a tub-shaped basin decorating with a few mouldings and piping; on a round-to-square lower base with incised rectangular panels on the sides; one of the upper angles appears to have a spur. The brass baptismal dish on the font was made in Nuremberg ca. 1575. Very ornate wooden cover of the Baroque perdiod, dated in DK ca. 1700.
