The present stone font in the old abbey church appears relatively modern, of a later version of the chalice-shaped design; the hemispherical basin has a gadrooned pattern all around; the pedestal base is round curving out towards the bottom, with simple mouldigs at top and bottom. Font cover of four scroll ribs around a central pivot on a flat platform; probably of the same period as the font itself.
