The entry for this church in i-Rügen [https://www.ruegencenter.de/1-info/sehen-1-5-kirchen.php] [accessed 15 October 2022] reports a 14th-century font of Swedish limestone in it. The font is noted and illustrated in RuegenUrlaub.de [https://www.ruegenurlaub.de/insel-ruegen/kirchen/route-4/st-nikolaikirche-altefaehr.html] [accessed 15 October 2022]. The font consists of a roughly hemispherical basin, almost cylindrical, the sides decorated with a blind arcade of round arches all around; the upper section of the basin, above the metal band that cinches the top, appears to be a total replacement and is carved with the well-known phrase from Matthew 19:14: "Lasset - die - Kindlen [...]" on its upper surface; it has a metal baptismal dish covering the inner basin; the base is a plain circular stone that appears unaltered. A later font of metal, perhaps 18th-century, is also in this church; both fonts are located in different parts of the chancel.
