The entry for this church in the Kirchenwege Wartburgland [http://www.kirchenwege-wartburgland.de/kirchen/pferdsdorf/] [accessed 15 October 2022] reports a baptismal font of 1583 in it, but the present church dates from 1766, with a few remains of the earlier building: "Die Pferdsdorfer Kirche entstand im Wesentlichen 1766. Reste eines Vorgängerbaues erhielten sich im Mauerwerk. Aus vorreformatorischer Zeit stammt die Glocke von 1483. Der Taufstein von 1583". No cover present
