Font Notes:
The entry for this church in Förderkreis »Entschlossene Kirchen« e.V. [https://www.entschlossene-kirchen.de/kirchen/straguth-dorfkirche/] [accessed 14 October 2022] reports a re-worked chalice-shaped baptismal font in the Romanesque design in this church: "Der Kelch des Taufsteins hat die halbrunde Form der Romanik und ist wahrscheinlich schon einmal überarbeitet worden." The entry for this church in the Evangelisher Kirchenkreis Zerbst [https://www.kirchenkreis-zerbst.de/straguth] [accessed 14 October 2022] describes the font as goblet-shaped and probably 13th-century, but the its decorative frieze was added in the 19th century: "Der kelchförmige Taufstein kann noch aus dem 13. Jahrhundert stammen. Sein Zierfries am oberen Rand wurde jedoch erst im 19. Jahrhundert hinzugefügt."
A communication from Pol Herman to BSI (e-mail of 28 June 2022) notes that an illustration of the re-carved font appears in Matthias Friske's Mittelalterliche Kirchen im westlichen Fläming und Vorfläming, Kirchen im ländlichen Raum 5 (Berlin: Lukasverlag, 2007: 86).
