There are two 1864 drawings by Carl Theodor Reiffenstein, in the Städel Museum, Frankfurt am Main [https://www.art-prints-on-demand.com/a/carltheodor-reiffenstein/steinerner-trog-taufstein-auf-schloss-laubach-1.html] [accessed 10 October 2022] of an object that appears very similar to several medieval baptismal font in the area; the drawings are captioned: "Steinerner Trog (Taufstein?) auf Schloss Laubach" [NB: we have no information on the present whereabouts of this object, or where it came from originally -- was it the medieval church at Laubach?].
