The guide for this church in the Stadt Biedenkopf Luftkurort im oberen Lahntal [https://stadtrundgang.biedenkopf.de/stadtgeschichtlicher-rundweg/stadtkirche-chor.html] [accessed 9 October 2022] mentions two fonts here; the present font in use in this church is dated 1682 and originated in the Hospitalkirche; the other font is a monolithic tub located outside the vicarage, decorated with arches on its sides; the original base is missing. The old font was removed from the exterior of the church, where it had laid for many years, and reinstalled inside, restored to its original liturgical use in May 2019; the move was recorded in a series of photographs [cf. ImagesArea] in Mittelhessen.de on 30 May 2019 [https://www.ev-kirche-web.de/node/176] [accessed 9 2022]. The font has a prominent torus-scotia-torus decoration around the upper part, with a row of shallow round arch-heads all around; the base was missing and has been replaced with single quadrangular stone block; modern. No cover present.
