There is a 1829 draft [SM 44g.278] for the altar and baptismal font of the evangelical parish church of St. Andreas in the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, Kupferstichkabinett by Karl Friedrich Schinkel [https://id.smb.museum/object/1506336] [accessed 7 October 2022] that shows two sides of a font, but the work may not have been executed. The present font is old, a very weathered octagonal basin on a square-to-octagonal base, all of it plain. It was restored to the church in 1960. No cover present. This may be the font referred to as having been found during renovation work in 1926 [https://orgelbauverein-luebbecke.de/2019/09/17/unsere-kirche/] [accessed 7 October 2022]: "In ihr befand sich das von einer Quelle gespeiste Erwachsenen-Taufbecken, das 1926 bei Grabungen im Rahmen der Renovierung unter der heutigen Vierung gefunden wurde."
