Listed and illustrated in the Museo del Duomo, Fidenza [https://www.museoduomofidenza.it/opera/fonte-battesimale-3/] [accessed 1 October 2022] as a baptismal font made of Carrara marble in the early-16th century (1513) on a design by Bernardo Boccoli (aka De Lera), an architect from Cremona; the gilded wooded cover is also attributed to him: "La pila in marmo sarebbe stata realizzata a Carrara nel 1513 su disegno e modello ligneo dell’architetto cremonese Bernardo Boccoli, detto De Lera, e forse allo stesso va ascritta la copertura in legno dorato.
