The entry for this church in Norbert Breton's Premier Millénaire [http://millenaire1.free.fr/408_4_33_divers7_saone_et_loire.html#4] [accessed 26 September 2022] notes that the font here has a misleading Romanesque look and suggests a date in the 15th century: "La cuve baptismale [...] a, quant à elle, un faux air roman. La croix pattée de droite est un symbole d’origine antique mais elle a été réutilisée par les templiers et les hospitaliers. Il est donc difficile de conclure. Par contre, la croix de gauche installée sur un tertre est quant à elle nettement plus récente. Cette cuve baptismale daterait du XVesiècle."
