Font Notes:
A large holy-water stoup located in the nave, near the west entranceway consists of an hexagonal basin of irregular sides, the back one against the wall is much larger than the others; the sides are vertical and decorated with a pattern of incised windows; hexagonal underbowl chamfer and short hexagonal-to-square pedestal base; date unknown but likely late (18th-19th century?). The baptismal font is of late-Baroque appearance. Both vessels are noted and illustrated in CEP / Wiki-Mâcon-Sud-Bourgogne [https://wiki-macon-sud-bourgogne.fr/index.php?title=Eglise_Saint-Blaise_à_Vitry-lès-Cluny_(La_Vineuse-sur-Frégande)#Inventaire_d.C3.A9cor_et_mobilier] [accessed 22 September 2022]: "Bénitier en pierre (entrée de la nef) [...] Fonts baptismaux (gauche de la travée sous clocher). [NB: we have no information on the font of the medieval church here].
