Noted and illustrated in Norbert Breton's Premier Millénaire [http://millenaire1.free.fr/408_4_54_divers21_saone_et_loire.html#6] [accessed 22 September 2022]: "cuve baptismale décorée aux quatre coins de têtes humaines." The monlithic object is a tub-shaped basin of stone with four protruding bulges set at 90-degree angles; the source identifies them as human heads, and they may have been that originally but they are now mere unrecognisable stumps. No cover present but a single metal staple remains in the upper rim above one of the bulges.
