An 18th-century baptismal font here made of marble is listed in Palissy [ref.: PM11003163]: "Meuble en bois et cuve baptismale en marbre turquin de Caunes-Minervois [...] 18e siècle]". Noted and illustrated in Premier millénaire [http://millenaire1.free.fr/408_9_147_caunes_minervois.html] [accessed 9 September 2022] as possibly a pair of stone blocks re-cycled as double-basin baptismal fonts." If that is the case the re-working appears to be 18th-century. [NB: we have no information on the medieval font here].
