The entry for this church in zh-kirchenspots.ch [https://www.zh-kirchenspots.ch/content/e1665/e1666/e6326/e14206/] [accessed 8 September 2022] notes and illustrates two baptismal fonts in this former abbey church: one, dated from 1528 bearing the Cistercian emblem ["Taufstein von 1528, mit Zisterzienser-Wappen"] and a second one believed to be the original font of the Romanesque abbey church here; it is now displayed in the nave ["Der romanische Taufstein (?) aus dem Vorgängerbau (?) ist im Seitenschiff aufgestellt"]. The Gemeinde Kappel im Albis site https://www.kappel-am-albis.ch/geschichte] [accessed 8 September 2022] reports a baptismal font of 1528 in the former abbey church; it had become parochial in 1527. The Gemeinschaft Evangelischer Zisterzienser-Erben in Deutschland site [https://evangelische-zisterzienser-erben.de/kappel-am-albis-ch/] [accessed 8 September 2022], however, states that the font and pulpit date from the first third of the 14th century: "Die eichenen Chorstühle stammen aus der Zeit um 1300. Vier Glasfenster sind noch aus dem ersten Drittel des 14. Jahrhunderts erhalten. Kanzel und Taufstein, die ebenfalls aus dieser Zeit stammen, finden sich jetzt in der Mitte der Kirche." [cf. BSI entry for Kappel im Albis No. 1 for the basin of the medieval baptismal font of this church].
