Font Notes:
The Bildarchiv Foto Marburg [https://www.bildindex.de/document/obj20281429] [accessed 1 September 2022] has a 1991 photograph of a baptismal font of the 16th century in the church yard/garden, the inscription on which can no longer be deciphered: "Im Pfarrgarten ist ein Taufstein in Pokalform aus dem Anfang des 16. Jahrhunderts erhalten, dessen Inschriften jedoch nicht mehr zu entziffern sind." An article by Constanze Matthes in the Naumberger Tageblatt 17 May 2022 edition [https://www.mz.de/lokal/naumburg/unfreiwillig-ein-ganzes-bergung-eines-gotischen-taufstein-sorgt-fur-uberraschung-3379603?reduced=true] [accessed 1 September 2022] shows the two objects that had been earlier put together as a baptismal font: an octagonal baptismal font basin with vertical sides, and a full holy-water stoup also of octagonal shape; interestingly both basins, font and stoup are octagonal inside and out, not a common design in this period.
