The inscription on this font is catalogued in the Deutsche Inschriften Online, Nordrhein-Westfalen / Bonn [DI 50: Bonn (2000) Nr. 77(†) [https://www.inschriften.net/bonn/inschrift/nr/di050-0077.html] [accessed 29 August 2022]: "Taufbecken mit Datierung. Trachyt mit großen, z. T. ausgebrochenen Sanidin-Einschlüssen, stark verwittert. Hochrechteckiger Sockel auf quadratischer Basis, darauf ein rundes Becken. An den Sockelseiten in eingetieften Feldern Tartschen mit weitgehend abgewitterten, unkenntlichen Wappen. An einer Seite befand sich über dem Feld die heute nicht mehr erkennbare Inschrift."
