The present baptismal font is noted and illustrated in the parish web site [https://www.andreasgemeinde-verden.de/] [accessed 26 August 2022] as having been made in 1649 of Swedish limestone and bearing the coat of arms of the Swedish 'Beamter' Johann Pfiel: "Der Taufstein aus geschliffenem Kalkstein trägt die Jahreszahl 1649 und den Namen des Stifters Johann Pfeil. Pfeil war ein schwedischer Beamter, sein Wappen ist am Fuß angebracht. Der Kalkstein ist von schwedischer Herkunft."
